It would be great to see spending items and tax revenue as a share of GDP. Currently you get a monetary figure, however it is really hard to gauge how this amount compares to the size of the economy. There are a lot of data sources online which show spending, tax, deficit, and debt as a share of the GDP. It would be a great feature in democracy 4 and could be used to compare against other countries in the game. Just an idea.
