The game is supposed to show lines that shows how various things affect each other on mouseover. Like seen here:

I do not see those. However, I can see those when hovering above the voters. I get the lines showing which things affect them. But not for GDP and the like.
This is on 2007 MacBook pro running OS X Mavericks.
EDIT: D’oh! False alarm. It seems that you need to hover the mouse quite a bit longer than with the voters…
