I’m not sure if this would entirely reform the entire game. One contention I take with this game is the amount of executive power available to the Prime Minister/President. Now there are more consequences within the game as opposed to the previous rendition, however I know at least from the US Government perspective that spending and monetary actions derive from Congress, not the President.
So if there could be a way to establish the separation of powers and create more obstacle for the President like there is in real life. Basically be presented bills, and limit the President to their executive powers while they have to use their influence to convince Congress of their agenda.
As I said, I’m not sure if this would change the mechanics of the game entirely, but portraying a more realistic separation of powers would escalate this game further for me.
