The Proposed Balance changes thread

The free school meal reduces poverty at -14.56 when you max it. A maxed sales tax has a +18.29 effect on poverty. I think the poverty reduction from free school meals is overdone.

And very pro-employer labor laws should eliminate the general strike. If labor laws are as pro-employer as possible strikes should be broken up.

The Carbon Tax effects on GDP should be more like the Petrol tax and Corporate tax.

EDIT: Free eye test has a too big anti-poverty effect too.

So I take it that the effects and relations are not based on empirical studies or econometric analysis? Maybe you should cooperate with universities and other economic research centers to get the real values and to further develope your model?

The stuff seems very much based on empirical data if you ask me. It may be outdated now but I think Cliff really has done his homework.

That would make me happy  But how could you balance things then, should it not be based on the real economies of the respective nations?
