third-party purchase errors

Hi–
I downloaded the demo and everything was great–hence the subsequent purchase of the full game completed. However, the full version is not working at all. I did not enable the Advanced Graphics after scanning posts, but I am still having major problems. I cannot play the game at all. The screen is a mess: everything is going haywire and blinking. I purchased the game from macgamestore.com; I have Mac OS X 10.5.2. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I purchased this game and cannot play it!
