I’m going to start by saying I really like this game and i’m getting lots of entertainment from playing it(So I decided to pick up the expansion)
Now i’m going to rage out about how impossibly hard it is to get the tribes install to work. I have been spending the last hour trying to figure out why something this simple isn’t working and i’m finally giving up. I have uninstalled gsb 3-4 times trying to get the tribes patch to stick and its doing nothing. I even see the tribes files in my main GSB folder and this is the error i’ve gotten consistently for the last hour no matter wtf I do
CreateProcess failed; code 2.
The system cannot find the specified file.
Update: If anybody else is having this problem, I fixed my game by opening up the contents of the tribes folders copying everything and pasting it by hand in the correct subfolders in the gsb folder in steamapps. There might be an easier way to get it to work but I couldn’t find one.
