Just started playing challenges, great fun btw. When I download a challenge and play against it and win on first try I always get a attempt and a victory recorded against the challenge.
What am I doing wrong? Plus how do you see the conditions for the challenge, i.e credit/pilot limits, credit and supply limitations?

You’re not doing anything wrong. When you try a challenge and win, that counts as both an attempt and a victory.
Unfortunately, you can’t see the challenge limits until you download the challenge and click on “Mission”, unless the challenge designer puts these in the taunt. I think that info would be quite useful to see prior to downloading, though.
