I get this everytime when I click the clock to sleep on Sunday, April 2007. I have a three year old DELL laptop with sigma tec audio. I just downloaded the latest audio drivers and even tried muting the sound. Unfortunately, something is still wrong. IF anyone could help me out, that would be great.
thisis indeed a sound card driver bug. it might be that your sound card just does not support direct sound fully. We sue FMOD which is a very popular sound engine, that is very stable, so its liely to be an issue with your card. You can disable sound entirely under optuions if it becomes neccesary.
