As a counter-policy to the graduate tax, there should be a college wealth endowment tax. Big colleges in America have huge endowments while students get buried in debt. Of course in countries where college is already affordable, this would be very unpopular.

I would further ask that Mortgage Debt Relief becomes a generic, âDebt Reliefâ policy and the values associated can go up much further. It can range from the lowest end as âlowest risk reliefâ to âall debt forgivenâ. Let them eat cake indeed.
