Game crashes at launch

Hi

My game crashes as soon as I launch it on Steam. I have no mods installed. I have verified integrity, reinstalled the game, and rebooted my computer multiple times, but the problem persists.

Multiple other people have the same problem on the Steam forums, but noone from Positech Games have responded with a solution. My specifications is as follows:

Windows 10, AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core, 16 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 3060Ti.

I was wondering about buying Democracy 4 but wanted to have go at Democracy 3 first, but not being able to launch that is frustrating and definitely doesn’t makes me wanna buy Democracy 4.

HI Chrras, Try deleting everything in the steam folder but steamapps and steam.exe, if you were in the beta add -clearbeta to the address in the shorcut, then start steam.exe, just worked for me
