I’m thrilled that we have a search bar on the main UI; it really makes finding that one policy much easier.
That said, I think a few minor additions could make it even better:
- Allow items in the drop-down to be selected with the arrow keys and enter
- Hit enter while typing to select the first suggested result
- Maybe selecting an item should take you straight to its screen instead of just highlighting it?
- Highlight all matching bubbles as you type (makes it easier to find similar things, e.g. all subsidies)
- Text selection with Shift+Home, Shift+End, and Ctrl+A
