I’ve had the same problem since I first bought the game in Sep. I try redownloading but it never helps…
I have no idea what could cause this, unless maybe its an incrediby low spec PC. Can you post the debug files found here:
\my documents\my games\democracy 4\debug

I downloaded the new versions and it worked fine?
I can maybe go back to try download the prior version, to see if I come across the same problem.
