Issues with junctions aside, there’s a few other places where conveyors could be improved.

Show the direction of the conveyor in the preview as you’re dragging the end of the conveyor line. This way you can verify that it’s going in the direction you intend.

Conveyor placement needs to consider whether you’re going from the outlet of a slot or not. I frequently find that, when there’s a bend in the factory, the conveyor placement will try to go back out the input slot when I’m trying to connect it to the next slot.

The direction of conveyors needs to be a little more obvious. The light blue chevrons are easily overlooked, and if you’ve placed the conveyor the wrong way, this can make troubleshooting more difficult than it needs to be.
