Thanks for the update! The little chat is always good just to help us players know what you’re focusing on.
Regarding the bug question, I say do fix it, it doesn’t look like it’s meant to be there.
As for where generally to go after the DLC is out and the first post DLC patch to iron whatever creases come up are done would be a pre-game of sorts. Nobody wakes up one day and is suddenly in charge of a country out of nowhere (outside of Scheherazade stories), so it would be in character to have to address who did I please during a campaign, who did I annoy, what promises did I make etc. Only having to worry about promises in the second term is weird.
Anyways, looks like great work, I look forward to playing it.
