I would like the option to Buy / Sell Equity (Bonds) to invest / spend for government reasons - be it infrastructure, transportation links, public health, homelessness.
The price and amount of these bonds would be dependent upon the credit rating of the government.
Thats basically already covered by government borrowing. As I understand it, government borrowing basically is bonds, and we currently set the interest rate on the governments debt on the game in accordance with the current credit rating, which is influenced by a variety of factors, including total debt and debt/GDP.
