how do you patch this game. i’m stuck on 1.07. its the lack of auto-update for me.

Just redownload and install the game using the original link you were emailed. Its magically the latest version, and you can reinstall over the top. If you have lost your download link, and bought the game using the humble widget, you can trigger a re-send of the link from here:

I purchased directly from the company and have been unable to use any of the fixes on the forum. Any other way I can fix this? I get the notification for the humble bundle update when I launch, but don’t have my original order email.

go there and enter the email address you used when you bought the game, it send you an updated link to the latest version, fully patched.

So I have tried that, and humble bundle is telling me I don’t have and codes or games on file. I will try it again, but each time I try to use the same link (I am assuming) from the game on launch I get a crash and no redirect to the humble bundle website.

I don’t understand what you mean, the game doesn’t direct you anywhere. I just checked your email address and there is a link that humble have, and provide you from that resender, which lets you download an installer to reinstall the game, ready-patched to the very latest version.
