[idea] save fleets

kinda like the “base template” in supreme commander FA for those who know what that is

basically you select a bunch of ships, right click, and there is an option to save the fleet

saved fleets can be dragged and dropped much like a normal ship

maybe in another tab or something

and their orders, individual (rescuer, last stand etc.) or interactive (escort, protector) will be saved

interactive order will only be saved when both the target and the origin are selected

opinions?

That would be very useful . .
I would suggest that as the game deploys the saved fleet, it checks that it only deploys the ships at are allowable
for example, the ships are not stacked, ships not deployed outside the deployment zone, the ships from the user’s race etc . .
