Just on suggestion though.
In the game Liberals are for weak handgun control. I don’t know about Europe, but in the U.S. Liberals are against guns. Just a thought.
the problem is that liberal means different things to different people in different countries. In some case liberal can mean left wing and pro-gun control. In others it means libertarian and pro-freedom and choice and pro-guns 
Read the description of liberals in the game. Social liberals. It’s a bit like the non-economic side of libertarians. They want personal freedom and liberty, privacy, and human rights. So gun restrictions reduce personal freedom. It’s the opposite of social conservatives who want to protect social and family values in society (imposing rules on society and having strong law and order).
