The game was running fine the first couple days. Then it started to periodically crash. Now it is toast… When I start up the game and press load game, I get this lovely prompt, followed by an immediate crash.
This sounds a lot like a corrupt save game. Was the last game you played very large? If you clear out the last game from the save game folder (or any save game with a size of zero) does it work then with other saves?
