Repeated Crashes when saving ship designs

When ever I attempt to save a ship design my game crashes and displays the message “GSB.exe has stopped working”

I have both expansions installed, along with the Mini-mod and my own custom modules which have worked fine in the past, they just have different stats.

if you ditch all the mods (just back everything up) and reinstall the game and the expansions without them, does it work ok then?
Some mods might conflict with newer versions of the game (just guessing).
