This is just an aesthetic thing, but it’d be nice if saving default orders for a particular ship class also saved which list of ship names its name was drawn from (or some other system to do the same). I have a list of names for capital ships and a list of names for fighter squadrons, but to get names from the right list I have to rename each ship individually. If it picked names from a set list on deploy/mass deploy, it’d save a bit of time/fuss.
