When selecting a new path other than the default, the installer seems to add an extra level of \Gratuitous Space Battles when using the “browse” button to find your folder.

So for us Steam users, we end up with something like valve\steam\steamapps\common\gratuitous space battles\Gratuitous Space Battles , which is incorrect. It’s not a problem if you pay attention, but the unfortunate fact is that these computers do whatever we tell them to do.

I think the tribe install did this to me as well, but it doesn’t seem to occur with the patches.

Yup, I need to get the installer pulled apart and coded to make it handle stuff like this better. It’s one of the few ‘black box’ pieces of middleware I use
