[Bug] Post battle screen shows wrong stats for kinnetic guns


Basically it shows me that all three Tribe kinnetic weapons never miss, but if I look at the stats of a single turret during the battle it shows me that it misses half of the time. Looking other turrets also show me that none of those turrets reach 100%.

A bit of visual proof in the first Swarm map in Normal difficulty:

I forgot to do the screen with only shots missed activated, it showed me nothing as if those turrets never missed in their lives.

Sooo, if the first screen showed that at least one of the turrets was wasting ammo, how can they have never missed at the end battle report?

I’ve tested this in several maps with all three Tribe kinnetic weapons (Cruiser Howitzer and Autocannon and Frigate Rapid-Fire Cannon). I haven’t seen any other weapons showing odd stats.


Gah, you have found a bug. I’ll fix it. Well spotted.
Kinetic weapons do miss, but because they are invisible, the code that would normally add a statistics saying “hey we missed!” isn’t being recorded correctly when they miss. Thus the old stats notice the miss, the new ones do not. But yup, they do miss.
I’ll fix it for the next patch.
