On my last playthrough, when I managed to solve my tax evasion problem, the income I was earning from the Automation Tax actually decreased.
Looking in the files, Automation Tax does not have the MULTIPLYINCOME flag set, which I believe may be the issue.
Currently using Democracy 4 1.62 with Voting Systems.
