Crash clicking "Deploy the Fleet" (first time playing)

Hi Cliff,

Just started the game for the first time. Didn’t really do anything other than clicked Battle, then selected the first mission, then Deploy the Fleet.
The game seemed to freeze. When I alt-tabbed out, I saw a dialog box that said:

Error 73. Please contact tech Support:…\src\Game.cpp 704

Machine specs:
Windows 7 64-bit
ATI 4850 X2
Intel Core 2 Quad
4gb RAM

FYI, on subsequent launches now (even after I removed the app and reinstalled it), I just get:

Error 41: Please contact tech Support:…src\Game.cpp 242

Note: the “change date” fix worked for me too…
