[Fixed 1.07][Bug 1.05] research gui minor bug + balance notes

Tried to close research window with [x]. Clicking [x] opens “max power drying” details. The only way to close research window is to scroll up or down so max power drying is not below [x].

Screw the cars, we are science facility :slight_smile: This factory sells 1 simpliest car per ~16 secs and generates 15 research points (which is VERY FAST research). And still is profitable. IMO balancing needs a hell of a work, game is not challenging now.

Yup I’m aware of huge balance issues. I’m working on it right now as it happens.
In the medium term, scientists will be accounted for differently to production line workers and get paid a lot more, leading to higher ongoing costs for having research labs.

I was thinking it would be good to have diminishing returns for labs.

For example, the first four labs provide 1 point of research.
Then five to get the next point.
Then six for the following point.

And so forth. Maybe not those exact numbers but you get the idea. And I think it’s pretty realistic, I don’t imagine there’s a direct correlation between the number of people researching something and how fast it gets done. Eventually IRL it may become counter-productive without proper management.
