Help! Can't deploy a fleet

I just installed the latest update to GSB. Now when I try to start a battle, none of the ships appear in the fleet selection screen. No tutorial ships, no Meaty Frigate (my test design), nothing. What do I need to do to be able to play this game again?

I’m using a 2010 MacBook Pro, OS X 10.6, plenty of memory and CPU and disk.

Welcome, VictorV1. Your post should really be at the Support forum instead of here. I’ll triage this request for now.

Let’s eliminate some more mundane possibilities first.

Remember that if you DON’T toggle on of the three hullsize-filter buttons - the tiny little square switches - you see none of your previously-designed and saved hulls at all. Click at least one button, and it’s a whole 'nuther ballgame:
