Pornography is generally consumed more by:

  1. Conservatives
  2. Religious

Relative to Liberals and Non-Religious.

There is a theory that watching more pornography makes you more liberal (atleast where sex is concerned).

Therefore if we assume all these to be true, like crime, where more crime means more people who identify as conservative and vice-versa (as observed by Cliff and included in the game). Then for pornography to survive as an industry, people must remain sexually conservative, but by distributing smut, the porn industry undermines its own user base, as it is turning those very same users sexually liberal (if we hold that theory to be true, this creates a possible paradox).

Conservatives/Religious also generally have more satisfying sex lives than liberals or non-religious.

So banning porn would lead to more conservatives (potentially, people can always find a way around censorship, usually, but if you look at Tor Aggregated User Statistics, it’s not many who are using the “dark web”).
