I’ve discovered something odd recently. I’ve been playing around with some China mods and found that the game kept crashing. I got interested so I started taking parts out to see if I could figure out what was broken. I discovered, to my surprise, that it was the names file. So I kept working and made some changes to try and fix it, but I couldn’t get it working. I can still run the mod, I just have to copy one from another country and rename it. Does anyone know of any name restrictions, especially character mins/maxes?
Here’s what I’ve tried:
Making names exclusive to each category
Making all names exclusive (no repeats)
Extending names to be at least 3 characters
Removing special characters and spaces
