I’ve been checking out the forum here, and I’d like some feedback on what you changed in the Config file to alter your game…
i don’t know what changing the values of things will do,
The only thing I changed, was Pages read per day…
Because, I’m lazy!

I changed the amount of cash my character started out with, tweaked the effects of alcohol, modified the relationship values to make losing friends more difficult. The effect of the cash mod was profound. My next character started with 6,400 pounds, which was fun for awhile. 
I play the game now with an unmodified 'fig.
Anyhow, the money was easy enough: GV_STARTINGCASH = 6400.00
And here’s some other stuff.
Replaced values with 0
GV_SOCIALISE_SNUB_PARTNER = -0.17
GV_REL_DEGRADERATE = 0.07
GV_SNUBRELEFFECT = -0.08
Do not remember what I changed these to
GV_BLOODALCOHOL_GAINRATE = 0.20
GV_BLOODALCOHOL_RECOVER = 0.02
GV_ALCOHOLIC_RECOVERY = 0.02
