I understand that the positech version has a internet update button to get a bunch of mods automatically. I have the Best Buy version of the game. Is there a patch to get the internet button? Are all the mods in the autoupdate posted in this forum?
Also, I had tried the demo from Positech and really liked the new critters. Can I get them somehow?
And, does anyone have new NPC pics? I tried to make one from a picture I have and failed miserably. I need a different program I guess.

So, since I posted last, I’ve gone through all the different parts of the Positech Demo and compared them to my Best Buy game. I was able to transfer alot of things (like the animals I wanted) and add some mods. I had to change some pricing because it seems like the American version has all the prices and wages doubled.
My new problem is with the Romantic Gift. I added it to the assets without any trouble and it shows up fine in the game. I purchased it, but then I can’t do anything with it? I’m assuming I’ve missed something that allows you to give the gift to someone. Any advice?

BTW, I’ve made some mods of my own; going to church, taking a hike, playing baseball, and a dog show. I plan on making some computer geeky additions to for those friends who like “Technology”. When I get a chance I’ll post them.
Okay, yeah the parrot and hamster and their food don’t work right either. I can buy them and that’s all. It must be a game code issue.

You’ll notice I also added animals, fish, outdoors(nature), and religion to the interests. I also added religion and playbaseball to the strings.ini file.

Oh I’m SO sorry. It won’t work to copy and paste into excel. ::SIGH:: If you’re a modder you won’t have any trouble adding the empty spots, but for those who aren’t I’ll work on a post that’s better.
