I downloaded the challenge 5190617 (by nano5813).
It contains Borg ships.
Problem is: I can not play this challenge as it shows massive errors. After that, also the other maps (offline mode) have the same massive errors. I have to cancel the game when ever I want to play. Errors include:
- Background is suddenly very poor/black, no “health boxes” upon pointing on ships; sometimes getting better when scrolling or zooming around in the game and worse again when scrolling/zooming back.
- Suddenly all moving objects become white, leaving white stains on the screen. After a few seconds almost everything is white. Nothing helps here.
- From starting a battle, the background already contains strange patterns. The game itself seems to be playable, until one of the other errors appear.
I had to move/rename the ~/.local/share/GratuitousSpaceBattles2 directory and I can play the game again as I used to before. I did not try other challenges if they show the same issues…
