Can't Load up my Friend's challenges.

I can play other challenges just fine, he can play my challenges just fine, but I can’t seem to load up any of his.

The game just crashes.

This is an excerpt from the error dump.
He’s using empire, and im using tribe. It’s not even a custom map.

Another additional quirk is that I don’t see the starmap on his challenge, just a nice clean white box.

He possibly has some sort of modded stuff installed? what is your friends username? I’ll take a look.

We both bought the game through steam during the discount period.
