Lektu asked how much honor has been earned on each mission. I can’t find such a post (didn’t look that hard), so I thought I’d compile one. This is for Federation only (I haven’t played much others).

That is as far as I have gotten on my work computer (have to check home computer later, also not listing normal missions I beat with “tutorial” ships). Also this should be in the suggestion box, but when I change races honor for each mission shouild be kept by race!! It shows the same honor for Rebels as for Federation but I’ve never beaten that mission with Rebels (broken! :frowning: in my opinion).

I’m playing with Rebels for the moment, and I’m using a simplistic mode of battle: mostly cruisers, with some fighter support if needed. No finetuning of fleets.

It’s easier when you go back and re-play the missions later with the cool toys you unlocked.

Once I unlocked everything I started going back to the early missions and would start by setting up an overkill fleet, then each time I win I subtract a ship and run it again on fast forward. Repeat until I lose.

I would say on average you can pretty easily get about 50% honor (meaning spend only half of your budget) on all the normal difficulty missions.

Yes, that’s more or less what I’m doing right now.

On normal difficulty I’d say it is easy to get much more than 50% honor, at least on the first three missions.
I’ve won the Battle of Mexallon II in hard with 18,743 points of honor, using just two cruisers and 20 fighters (I haven’t tried expert yet). Curiously, I’ve been unable to get as much honor in normal on that mission…

I agree it would be nice if the game kept track of honor scores by race. :slight_smile:

Anyone else care to post their scores for Feds (or some other race?)
I’ve completed all 3 levels of Conquering Chiarn Prime, but I’m not happy yet with my Expert score… need to see if I can handle enemy plasma better with a faster fleet, without compromising too much elsewhere.

EDIT: Yep! That worked; saved 2500 honor. :smiley:

I guess not that many people are interested in this topic. But I’ve finished the available missions with the Federation, so I thought I’d post my final scores (for now at least.) I haven’t tuned every last fleet to the max honor available – especially the ones with annoying anomalies or supply limits – but overall I think I have got some pretty respectable scores for Federation…

My Federation fleet has been winning at an average of 4:1 odds and never worse than 3:1 odds. :slight_smile:

I guess I’ll have to try another race next! Any suggestions?
