I got GSB with the latest humble bundle and have all the keys to go with it, but when I try to run it, it just comes up with a standard error dialog claiming ‘GSB.exe has stopped working.’ I installed it through Steam, so I don’t know where to look for any debug files. Help?
For the Non Steam version the debug files are located here: \My Documents\My Games\GratuitousSpaceBattles\debug\errors.txt
Maybe you could search for the file name ?
I’ve discovered that the game only runs when you run the executable manually, and not from Steam. Maybe the developers should take a look at this, as I haven’t changed any settings in Steam. For now, I’m just happy that it runs at all.
They are there for the Steam version too
They weren’t generating at all when I first ran the game, but generated normally when I ran the executable.
