Everytime I get a sum of money saved up, i get attacked! I have tried building muscles but nothing seems to help. I even bought a car, however it isn’t highlighted in the commute section. Any suggestions?

learn to drive, or buy a bike. its people walking who get mugged the most.
Make yourself less of a target by working out or taking karate or kung fu. Thieves like weaker targets.
First thing I do with a new character is take Kung Fu, the least expensive class. Once you get about halfway through, you start “fighting off” the mugger. And after you’ve completed the class, you “arrest” the mugger, with or without muscles! Best way, really. Also gives you a huge shot of Confidence when you arrest a mugger.
