Can be the original creators reached?
If not is it ethical to import their mods to Democracy 4?
Reason:
For democracy 3 there were a mod called: The Department for Education and Families
My guess it hardly be compatible with democracy 4, but was such a fine one which worth to be imported to dem 4.
it’s always better and safer to reach original creators but… I think it’s okay to just proceed if you are willing to fix codes and make sure them work smoothly in D4 in terms of both running and playing it. copyright doesn’t protect ideas. imo, the trickiest part would be icons but you have to convert dds to svg anyway so you can invest some minutes to avoid possible risks.
