Planetary defense lacks an easy mode?

The first planet with no defenses was ok on medium. The second one with the shield and 4 moons was very hard so I put in on Easy. Right off the start I got like 8 meteors, and then bombarded with satellites that camped near or at the outter edge of the screen and shot down all my rockts. This is EASY mode???

you can edit the games speed under options. that makes it much easier

But still, there’s no reason why that planet was so chaotic on Easy mode when the other one was easier on medium with the same game speed…
