Requesting Help: Interpreting Challenge History

Can somebody help me interpret this?
How can there be more victories than attempts?

An attempt is a defeat, a victory is, well, a victory.

Food for thought: Ofttimes on challenges I send to myself, I only run it once and smash it through. The history then shows 1 attempt and 1 victory. So while I don’t doubt that

is how the list is intended to read, there may be some complicating factors or outright bugs involved.

Actually if you win on the first attempt, you get
Attempt
Victory
Listed 1/1

If you lose the first three then win (four games), you get
Attempt
Attempt
Attempt
Attempt
Victory
Listed 1/4

If you lose, win, win, you get
Attempt
Attempt
Victory
Victory
Listed 1/2

It stops counting attempts and victories at the first win, but continues to list victories if you win.

So a loss is an Attempt, and a win is a Victory, with the exception of the first win, which is listed as both?

(At least, that’s how that reads to me.)

My bad.

So why does one guy up there have this?

Attempt
Victory
Victory
Victory

He won three times.

But the count will be 1 and 1 (victory and attempts).

Attempts only counts until the person wins.

Win counts indefinitely.

Say I win on the third try, then I get

attempt
attempt
attempt
win

Now after I win once, the game stop counting attempts. So it doesn’t matter if it takes me 20 more tries to get the next win, it will still show as

attempt
attempt
attempt
win
win

Bizarre. Okay, thanks guys.
That was really confusing me.

I had been under the impression it stopped counting attempts AND victories after the first victory was achieved. I guess I misunderstood a post somewhere.

In the “count” (the numbers of A and V), both stop counting. If you haven’t notice already the number of victory does not match up to the list when you count.
