Trouble with code input (Steam)

Hello, and first of all thanks for a delightfully funny game.

I have a problem with inputting my CD key from my Steam bought game and getting access to online and challenge modes.

The format of my Steam CD key is:

XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX-X

This seems incompatible with the input option in the game - There appears to be a digit too many.

Has anyone else encountered this problem or know a way to correct it?
