Australia- Cannot play past 2nd turn

Hello cliffski/forum,

I am playing the steam version of Democracy 3, on Windows 7 home premium 64-bit machine.

Since the 1.15 update i am unable to play as Australia- the game would rarely let me proceed to the next turn, 3rd turn was the highest i ever got to. The game Just freezes in the next turn’s loading screen and i must kill the application in task manager and then i get the standard windows message “Democracy3.exe is not responding”.
I dont understand why this problem is exclusive to Australia, i don’t experience the same problem while playing as other countries, as of yet. Is anybody in the same position?

Do you have the Decay Democracy mod that has Russia and China in it?

Actually, the problem happens if you have a mod interfering with another mod.
Example: One of the simulation or policies name is the same in another one

Nope, i do not have any mods installed nor do I have the extremism and social engineering dlc’s.

I have those mods installed but I can’t get past the 2nd turn either. It crashes in the other countries as well. (I have version 1.15).
