Why does the antibiotics ban so severely curtail farmer income?

This is just guesswork, but I think the decrease in income could be meant to simulate the increased rates of death/disease among farms (CAFOs specifically), reducing farmer income and requiring them to buy more animals and invest in other protective measures.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I remember Cliff saying in a youtube video that he googles this information up but it’s hard considering that they don’t serve you the exact policies up-front so he goes deeper.
